Andy Harvey

Chairman/CEO

 

Andy was born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He has spent his entire professional career working and investing in DFW. For 25 years, Mr. Harvey worked in sales, while managing and directing his own wholesale paper company, United Papers Inc. During his career with United Papers Inc., the company sold and serviced every major printer and newspaper in the Southwest. In 2006, he joined Transition Capital Partners, where he served as a valuable asset, finding deals and raising equity. With his successful and extensive association with Mr. Patterson, Mr. Harvey was promoted into the position of Business Development for the Patterson Thoma Family Office in January, 2010.  Andy is a 1972 graduate of Oklahoma State University in the school of journalism.

Denise Franklin

President

 

Denise Franklin joined CP Insurance Associates 37 plus years ago. She began working as a part-time data entry specialist in the Insurance Department and has worked her way up. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of areas including loan servicing, system development, financial insurance services as well as client services leadership. Denise was the Manager of IT, Accounting, Escrow, and Insurance departments for the company for 16 years. She was then promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations and has advanced her career within the company to President.  As President, Denise oversees all aspects of the business and operations.

Denise Franklin

Denise Franklin joined CP Insurance Associates 37 plus years ago. She began working as a part-time data entry specialist in the Insurance Department and has worked her way up. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of areas including loan servicing, system development, financial insurance services as well as client services leadership. James Hooker              Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA)

Chief Financial Officer

James W. Hooker has 28 years of experience in the insurance industry and joined our team in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer. With a Bachelor of business Administration degree from Lamar University, he started his career in 1991 at KPMG-Peat Marwick as an insurance audit assistant and was quickly promoted to staff, senior, and audit manager.  James also spent two years in London, England and was in charge of auditing large international insurance groups. In, 1997, he started as Controller of Highlands Insurance Group and was promoted to Vice President of Finance. Since then James has worked at Myron Steves & Co., where he was the CFO for multiple companies including Myron Steves & Co., Financial Casualty & Surety, Inc., and Pronote, Inc.

Suzanne Hare

EVP, Claims, Compliance & Underwriting

 

Suzanne Hare started her career in the insurance industry in 1979 as a customer service representative for various insurance agencies in Corpus Christi and Dallas, before moving back to her hometown of Huntsville, Texas. Working as a personal lines supervisor at a local agency, she then joined CP Insurance Associates in 1985 as a data entry clerk. Suzanne obtained her claims adjuster license, allowing her to advance her career to manager of the Claims Administration Center and as Single Interest Compliance Specialist.  Currently, as an officer of the Company, she holds the position of Executive Vice President of Claims, Compliance & Underwriting.  Suzanne has also attained multiple professional licenses and was an expert witness for the FDIC.

Bob Burke

Vice President

Bob Burke has been with the company for 30 years. Prior to joining the company, he was the Senior Vice President over Operations and Sales for Mel McReynolds Co. in 1977. He joined the team in 1989 as the Vice President over Sales. He is currently the Sales Manager for CP Insurance Associates.

Rob Michelsen

Executive Vice President of Sales

 

Rob Michelsen is the President of CP Insurance Associates Property/Casualty Division and EVP for CP Insurance Associates Collateral Protection Division. He began working in the insurance industry in 1984; working 23 years for Farmers Insurance Group. In February of 2010, Rob joined the Summit Alliance Team, forming Summit Alliance Insurance Advisors, LLC.

Keith Certa

VP of Business Development

 

Keith Certa has been with the company for 33 years having experience in client services, sales, and training on all related CPIA products. He joined the company after 8 years in the chemical base operations and has found that serving CP Insurance Associates has proven to be a lasting journey.

Tammy Ondracek

VP of Business Development

 

Tammy Ondracek has dedicated 36 plus years to the company. She originally joined the company to earn and save money for college so that she could become a teacher. However, she grew to enjoy serving CP Insurance Associates and realized that she found her calling. Tammy has experience in areas of service, sales, and training.

Larry D. Larrison

VP of Business Development

 

Larry D. Larrison has over thirty years of insurance sales experience. He recently returned to CP Insurance Associates after working with another insurance company for 16 years. Larry began his career with Collateral Protection in 1985. Larry continues to grow the company's brand and product through his role as Vice President of Business Development.

J. Daniel Caskey

VP of Business Development

 

J. Daniel (Danny) Caskey joins CP Insurance Associates with over 30 years of insurance experience including executive roles with American Modern Insurance Group, Tower Hill Insurance Group, and US Risk. Mr. Caskey is licensed in property & casualty insurance, surplus lines insurance and claims adjusting. He has an extensive insurance background across a number of markets with an emphasis for the last 15 years on risk management solutions for financial institutions and real estate investors. His background also includes extensive experience in working with domestic and foreign insurance markets which included underwriting and claims authority. In addition to an expertise in property and casualty insurance, Mr. Caskey is nationally recognized and considered a leading authority in Flood Insurance both with the National Flood Insurance Program and programs offered thru domestic carriers and Lloyd’s of London.

Tim Holt

VP of Business Development

 

Tim Holt started his career in the insurance industry in 1986 with Union Life Insurance.  He has 33 years of experience as VP with an extensive history of New Business development in the financial Institution Industry providing technology, compliance, insurance, and outsourcing solutions.  Tim has held roles such as Director of Marketing for other insurance service programs and as VP of Business Development/ Commercial Division of Stephens Insurance. Tim joined CP Insurance Associates in January 2018 as VP of Business Development.

Phil Dyer

Sales Consultant

 

Phil Dyer has over 40+ years in the financial services industry. The last 19 years being with Legacy Texas bank located in Plano, Texas with 14 of those years as the President of the bank.  In addition, he has been active in community service, including 10 years on the Plano City Council.  Phil served as Plano's Mayor from 2009-2013.  He holds a BBA degree from the University of Texas Austin, as well as an MBA from Texas A&M-Commerce.

Crystal Franklin

Insurance Operations Manager

 

Crystal Franklin started her career with CPIA in May 2000 as an Insurance Department Data Entry Clerk.  She is currently the Training and Development Leader with extensive experience working with all organizational levels creating, promoting, and delivering training solutions designed to support the organization’s business plan. In 2017 Crystal was promoted to the Insurance Manager/Training & Development Specialist.

Cheryl Ridley

Accounting/Information Processing Manager

 

Cheryl has been with CP Insurance Associates since 2007.  She started as an Accounting Clerk and was additionally trained in the Information Processing Department.  Cheryl was promoted to Accounting and Information Processing Manager in 2017.  She has collaborated with all departments to develop a broad knowledge of all aspects of CP Insurance Associates.

Stephanie Pate

HR/Office Manager

 

Stephanie Pate began working for the company in May of 2010 as a Receptionist and data entry clerk. In 2014, she became an Administrative Assistant, specializing in support for different areas including new account set ups and quality control. In 2017 Stephanie was promoted to HR/Office Manager. 

Megan Peck

Escrow Insurance Supervisor

 

Megan Peck began working for CP Insurance Associates when she moved to Texas in August of 2013. Given her previous experience from Regions Bank, she started as an Insurance Center clerk for our Escrow department.  Through her dedication and hard work in 2017, Megan was promoted to Supervisor of the Escrow Insurance Department, the same department in which her career began.  In addition to Megan’s Supervisory position over the Escrow Insurance Department, in 2019 she will also be taking on the Supervisor role of our newly developed Investor Property Program (IPP).

Evelin Franco

Claims Supervisor

 

Evelin Franco began her career in the insurance industry in 1998 as an insurance clerk for American National. In November of 2000, Evelin joined our CP team as a Claims Clerk.  Eventually she would also work as a clerk in the accounting department and become very knowledgeable in the insurance aspect of our company. In her 20 plus years of experience in the insurance business, she has dedicated her last 19 to CP Insurance Associates. Because of her knowledge and outstanding commitment to our team Evelin was promoted to Claims Supervisor in 2017.

Rosibel Salazar 

Insurance Center Co-Supervisor

 

Rosibel began working for CP Insurance Associates in June 2012 as an insurance service representative.  Rosibel also assisted with numerous other job duties within the company.  Her exceptional performance, excellent record of customer relations, problem resolution, and on time customer delivery contributed to her promotion in June of 2016 as the Insurance Departments Assistant Supervisor.  Rosibel received her new job title as Insurance Department Supervisor in March 2017 and now oversees staff ensuring daily operations are performed, training for new employees, internal audits and quality control.

Shelia Spivey

Insurance Center Co-Supervisor

 

Shelia Spivey began working as a Data Entry specialist for the company in 2001. She accepted position of Insurance Center Supervisor in 2014. Shelia oversees staff ensuring daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. She maintains that company policies, procedures, and performance standards are met for CP Insurance Associates.

Sheryl Ellis

Insurance Service Supervisor

 

Sheryl Ellis joined CP Insurance Associates in September 2012, leaving her position as an Account Specialist at a local lending institution. She began as a data entry clerk for our insurance department.  Her 13 years of experience in a management/leadership role as Customer Service Manager and Store significantly contributed to her promotion at CP as the Escrow Assistant Supervisor in 2017.  Having held various roles with CPIA, Sheryl has been proven to be a leader and has recently been named as the Insurance Service Supervisor.

Samantha McMurrey

Accounting Supervisor

 

Samantha McMurrey joined our team in November of 2016, previously spending the last 12 years in administrative and customer service related positions. She has worked as a CSR/Accounting for Mid-South Electric and a Bank teller for American Bank.  Later, dedicating 7 years to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as an Administrative Assistant and performing in house audits on all facilities in the State of Texas. Samantha started at CP as an Accounting Clerk in November 2016 and was quickly promoted to Accounting Supervisor in March of 2019.

Crystal Moser Newman

Information Processing Supervisor

 

Crystal Moser-Newman joined the company in 2013 as a Computer Operations Specialist.  In 2016, she became the Assistant Supervisor of Computer Operations and in 2017 was promoted to Information Processing Supervisor.  Crystal provides technical assistance and support for incoming queries related to the computer systems, software and hardware for CP Insurance Associates.

Kathy Worley

Agent Support Specialist

 

Kathy Worley is an experienced account specialist. She has been with the company for 15 years as an Accounting Department Clerk. In 2015, she became the Agent Support Specialist and is responsible for working with the agents in all aspects.
