Creditor-Placed Insurance Sales Representative – Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH)

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Creditor-Placed Insurance (CPI) Sales Representative to support our Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) auto dealership partners. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing and selling creditor-placed insurance programs to BHPH dealerships, helping them mitigate risk on their vehicle collateral and remain compliant with state regulations. Your goal will be to build relationships, educate dealers, and increase adoption of our CPI programs.

This is a full-time remote/in-office/hybrid position. 

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Sales

Prospect and onboard new BHPH dealerships to our CPI program.

Program Education

Present and explain creditor-placed insurance solutions to dealership owners, finance managers, and operational staff.

Training

Train dealership staff on the implementation and administration of CPI, including tracking systems and customer communication.

Account Management

Maintain ongoing relationships with dealership clients, providing support, updates, and assistance with claim processing or compliance questions.

Professional Development

Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and state regulatory compliance requirements related to CPI.

Industry Events

Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and regional events to generate leads and brand visibility.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the auto finance, insurance, or BHPH/dealer services industry.

  • Working knowledge of creditor-placed insurance, collateral protection, or related finance products is highly desirable.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and territory effectively.

  • Willingness to travel regionally (if required) to meet clients and attend events.

  • Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and presentation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with or selling to BHPH dealerships.

  • Insurance license (Property & Casualty) or willingness to obtain one.
