Insurance Center Data Entry Clerk

The Insurance Center Data Entry Clerk provides customer service to lenders, borrowers and to the insurance agent, along with keying insurance into a software program.

Clerical Tasks

Performs basic clerical functions to include data and document processing.

Customer Service 

Provides customer service related to loans and insurance policies over the phone (inbound and outbound calls) or by email.

Research

Researches and tracks information.

Pacing

Meets goals and daily/weekly productivity expectations. 

Detailed Work

Requires basic knowledge of general clerical functions and requires the ability to perform word processing. Requires accuracy in finding files, entering facts or figures, and operation of office equipment. Will be required to work within Department operating systems/programs. 

Team Oriented

Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

Sedentary work.  Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Repetitive motion.  Substantial movements (motions) of wrists, hands, and/or fingers.  The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer; extensive reading.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

​

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Two years clerical experience in a related field.  Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience. 

​

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

Employees must pass a background check and provide identifying documents required to establish identity and employment eligibility for Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements:
